LightXtreme VPN User Agreement
Before you use LightXtreme VPN, this is the agreement between us: what you get when you register, what happens when you buy a plan, how the client is meant to be used, and how we handle requests after a sale. We have kept it straightforward, because a rule you cannot follow is not a rule. Subscriptions are counted in one way, refunds are handled in one way, and the list of forbidden uses appears in full. Downloading, installing or using LightXtreme VPN amounts to agreeing to these terms.
1. Reading the service terms
The technology itself is cross-region network acceleration with privacy protection attached, offered through clients for Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, Android TV, Apple TV and Linux along with browser extensions, and it is carried by more than 2,000 servers located across 70+ countries and regions, with the client exposing the nodes that are currently reachable.
Trial period and plans
Your first download unlocks a 30-minute free trial, and the commercial service that follows is a subscription in which every plan allows one account to hold 3 simultaneous connections.
Ways to settle the bill
Payment may be made with Alipay, WeChat Pay, UnionPay, credit cards, PayPal, Google Play or Stripe, the subscription activates on successful payment, and the time needed for funds to settle is a matter for the payment provider.
2. The refund promise
Behind the service sits a 30-day money-back guarantee: within 30 days of activation you can request a refund from the client or by email and describe your experience, an approved refund brings the plan to an end, and subscriptions beyond 30 days, or already used in proportion, are not refundable unless the law provides otherwise.
Redress for service interruption
Where our servers are the cause of a prolonged inability to connect and you report the problem without delay, additional subscription time may be granted as compensation.
3. Acceptable use of the network
You agree to follow the legislation and the network usage conventions of the territory you are in, and you agree not to employ the service for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to:
- attacking, intruding on or disrupting other networks or servers, or conducting fraud, phishing or other unlawful activity;
- bulk registering accounts, sharing or transferring them, or abusing trial and subscription resources through automation;
- transmitting illegal or harmful content, or infringing the intellectual property, privacy or other legitimate rights of others;
- using the service in a way that breaches the terms of the platform it is used on.
Accounts that step outside those limits may be suspended, have parts of the service withdrawn, or be closed, and particularly serious cases can be pursued through the courts.
4. Ownership of the software and site
The LightXtreme VPN client software, the material on the website, the interface design, the iconography and the word marks are the intellectual property of LightXtreme VPN and the parties who hold rights in them, so reproducing, editing, reverse engineering, redistributing or commercially exploiting any of it needs written consent, whereas the personal information you generate during lawful use of the service remains yours to keep.
Releases and revisions
Features, the arrangement of nodes, the price of plans and any promotional offers may be adjusted from time to time, with the current state always published here, and where an adjustment bears on the rights attached to a plan it is flagged in advance while customers who have already paid continue to receive the earlier terms until the end of what they have paid for.
Where our duty ends
To the extent that the law allows it, LightXtreme VPN is not responsible for interruptions or changes in speed brought about by force majeure, a fault at the carrier or a change of local policy, and it is worth remembering that a VPN changes the path your data travels, so a small number of sites may turn away traffic that reaches them through a VPN.
