Your Data and the LightXtreme VPN Privacy Policy
LightXtreme VPN does not gather more than it must, and this policy describes exactly what is gathered while you use the website, the client and a subscription, the reason for each item and the means by which you remain in charge of it. Nothing collected here is sold, and any change to these terms is published on the website for you to read.
1. The information we hold
Details linked to your account
To register an account or buy a plan we keep your email address, the order and payment trail, the number of devices on the plan and the date it lapses, so that we can identify you, open the service and offer proper support.
Connection records the client writes
Temporary connection records are produced by the client, with the node identifier, the time of the session and any error codes involved, to keep the link stable and to trace a fault when one appears. They never include your browsing content, credentials or history, and they are not used to work out what you look at.
Information from your visits
Opening the site sends technical information such as browser and device model, language, referrer and time of visit, which lets us count traffic and keep the pages in good shape; a third-party statistics script may rely on a cookie, and you can clear or block cookies whenever you want.
2. What it is used for
Every item has a single purpose: turning your subscription on and looking after it, delivering encrypted connections and protecting their quality, handling refunds and support cases, preventing abuse and fraud, and improving the product and the website.
Your personal information is not sold and not used to build advertising profiles or marketing lists, except where the law requires disclosure, where you have given clear permission, or where a payment you started cannot be finished without it.
3. Bodies involved
Payment partners including Alipay, WeChat Pay, UnionPay, credit cards, PayPal, Google Play and Stripe receive what you enter at checkout and apply their own privacy rules; the client connects to servers we operate, your traffic travels inside an encrypted tunnel, and the node operators never read the sites you open.
Protection of data on the move
Information in transit is guarded by Shadowsocks, Vless and WireGuard encryption with algorithms such as AES-256-GCM, and the account actions you take between website and client are encrypted over HTTPS.
4. Retention period and your decisions
Account and plan records are retained for the duration of the service and a limited span afterwards to meet support and compliance duties, while connection records are dropped as soon as they have been used, and you may contact the service email to request an export, a correction or the deletion of your personal data, which is deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period after the account is closed.
Younger people using the service
This service is intended for adult users. If you are younger than the legal age of majority in your country, please read this policy alongside a guardian and use the service only with their consent.
Revising the policy
This policy may be revised as the product evolves, and every revised version is published on this website; continuing to use LightXtreme VPN means accepting the version then in force.
